IDENTIFICATION POINTS & LINES

Selected six 6 different images of interior space and identified every points on all images by using dot. Later on, I constructed lines on all 6 images by connecting the points to create patterns.

2-D TO 3-D

I selected a pattern from one of image, and decided to develop my model from it. I find it was interesting pattern when I add sticks to create 3D form.

PROTOTYPE

For my first prototype, I wanted to added more geometrical shapes on my 3D model after finalizing my concept design for my model

CONCEPT

More  I wanted to create conceptual architecture 3D model that consist of different geometrical shapes especially pyramid . I decided to have one small and one big pyramid both sides of my model

CONCEPT SKETCHES

Sketches were produced to mainly portray the 3D form of the model which consist of two pyramids left and right with diagonal lines.

MOCK-UP 1

At first I made mock up with just using simple bamboo sticks. My main intention at this stage was to test out points and lines from my sketches to see the height for each parts.

MOCK-UP 2

More pyramid were added at this stage. A balance solid and voids taken into considerations where I add more solids inwards and top. I removed few parts to make it neat and one piece.

FINALIZING MODEL

Sketches More structural experiment were made to study the proportion and scale of 3D model.  I added more solids planes, at the sides also inwards of the model. A simple materials like, sticks, cardboard were introduced at the final model

DISIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

I've learned real-life examples form my tutor's teachings. With these knowledge, I've learned To transform 2-dimensional form to 3-dimensional. I demonstrate visual and volumetric thinking through the production of spatial design ideas.

THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING

I managed three-dimensional space and object into two-dimensional orthographic drawings.I faced many challenges, especially in getting inspiration and re-analyzing mockups. When I was advised to improve on it, I keep updated my progress to my tutor.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

I communicate well and interact with my tutor effectively whenever Im having difficulties. Upon completing my model now Im capable to manipulate the elements and principles of design to achieve specified goals in the design environment.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

I've learned to communicate with my tutor whenever I'm unclear on certain directions of the task. I was keep updating my progress to my lecture in a short tutorial time with good communication skills.
